Yesterday, I went to my Grandad's funeral. This in itself was very sad until I heard his eulogy. (is that spelt right?)
Part of it talked about how he had a very active life in his 89 years.
At 75, he took up paragliding. I am not sure if you have had a look at this but it is scary stuff. Suspended under a parachute and leaping off cliff tops! Your life at the whim of whatever thermal should sweep you up.
He also kept his motorcycle licence until he was 87! He seemed fearless.
What is the point of this personal disclosure?
It is never too late to do something about your fear. Our oldest delegate so far to beat his fear was 84 years old.
We have found that no matter how long you have had the fear, once you decide it is time to beat it you might surprise yourself.
